The Video Production Collective: Grow Your Professional Network

A video production company is only as good as its people. Throughout all stages of the video production process, there are a variety of individual contributors that are highly skilled in their craft. This network of people develops over time and with some effort. 

At Level Set Films, we’re always looking to expand our network. Our best practice is to source talent locally for not only production, but for pre-production (scriptwriting, storyboarding, producing) and post-production (editing, motion graphics, color grading, and audio mixing/mastering). 

Which is why we’ve started a Meetup group in the San Francisco Bay Area:

It feels good to both give people work and be a resource for their projects as well. 

Here’s a bit more about the group:

We are a group of video production professionals in the San Francisco Bay Area. Our meet-up aims to connect industry experts and provide employment opportunities. The events take place in Marin County, San Francisco, and the South Bay, providing a platform to establish relationships and learn from fellow professionals. Our community consists of producers, scriptwriters, storyboard artists, camera operators, cinematographers/DPs, directors, grips, gaffers, video editors, motion graphic artists, colorists, audio techs, teleprompter operators, hair & makeup artists, and art department professionals.
